AAP Resources to Support Survivors of Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) in Pediatric Health Care Settings
Did you know that 1 in 4 women and 1 in 10 men experience IPV in the US? Many experts worry that IPV has worsened during the pandemic. The AAP, in partnership with Futures Without Violence, the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), developed several resources to assist pediatricians and pediatric health care providers in supporting survivors of IPV and their children.
