Complete Your Tobacco Treatment Specialist Training This Spring
Advice and assistance from a healthcare professional remains a powerful tool for helping tobacco users quit and these patients should be offered assistance at each healthcare visit. The MaineHealth Center for Tobacco Independence provides a variety of tobacco treatment trainings and education programs for providers and health professionals. The MaineHealth Center for Tobacco Independence Training and Education Program is fully accredited by the Council for Tobacco Treatment Training Programs (CTTTP).
If you are interested in obtaining Tobacco Treatment Specialist certification, there are two training pathways through CTI that you can choose from:
- Accelerated Tobacco Treatment Specialist Training: March 2025
- Classic Pathway Training Offerings: To fulfill Tobacco Treatment Specialist certification requirements, you must attend all three trainings in the Classic Pathway: Essential Skills, Intensive Skills, and Annual Conference. Multiple Offerings in Spring 2025
