The AAP ECHO Superhub is pleased to share 3 ECHO opportunities currently recruiting.
1. Anxiety and Depression Quality Improvement ECHO
2. Prescribing Opioids in Outpatient Settings ECHO
3. School Based Health Care Suicide Prevention Clinical ECHO
Anxiety and Depression Quality Improvement ECHO
In partnership with the National Training and Technical Assistance Center for Child, Youth and Family Mental Health (NTTAC), the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) will host a Project ECHO learning collaborative on anxiety and depression. The goal of this ECHO is to build the capacity of primary care providers to provide quality behavioral and mental health care within the medical home setting, with a focus on anxiety and depression.
This ECHO will offer two tracks and launch in November 2024.
Track 1: 8 ECHO sessions held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 12pm CT, 1pm ET and 10am PT. This ECHO will launch on November 20,2024.
Track 2: 8 monthly educational ECHO sessions plus 4 Quality Improvement ECHO sessions, applying QI methodology through monthly chart review, PDSA cycles and QI coaching. The QI ECHO sessions will launch on December 4, 2024.

Prescribing Opioids in Outpatient Settings ECHO
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is recruiting for the Prescribing Opioids in Outpatient Settings ECHO. This ECHO aims to enhance clinician understanding of when opioids may be indicated to treat acute pain in children and adolescents and how to minimize risks, based on the newly released Clinical Practice Guideline. This ECHO will meet monthly on Thursdays at 1:00 - 2:00 pm CT/ 2:00 - 3:00 pm ET /11:00 am - 12:00 pm PT on November 14, December 12, January 9, and February 6. Learn more here and register here! School Based Health Care Suicide Prevention Clinical ECHO
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) are recruiting for the School Based Health Care Suicide Prevention Clinical ECHO. The AAP has partnered with the AFSP to develop a 6-month ECHO program for school based health care professionals that focuses on clinical strategies described in the Blueprint for Youth Suicide Prevention. This program started September 2024 and continues to meet virtually on the second Wednesday of the month through February 2025. Sessions will be held at 2pm ET / 1pm CT / 12pm MT / 11am PT and will last 1 hour.
