Victoria Dalzell, MD
Being a developmental and behavioral pediatrician was the perfect match for me, as it combined what I had studied in college, psychology, with medicine. Prior to medical school I had worked in both a residential treatment center for children and a children’s psychiatric hospital. I learned how children’s difficult behavior could easily be misunderstood and wanted to help reframe how their behavior was viewed. My clinical interests include autism spectrum disorders, complex ADHD, learning difficulties, intellectual disabilities and anxiety. I enjoy assisting families through diagnosis, navigation of treatment and services and eventually preparing them for the transition to adulthood. After being in practice for over twenty years, teaching has remained a strong passion and my goal is to spread that teaching not only to the residents in our program but also to primary care providers and clinicians who care for children across the state.
